In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, post a listing/advertisement, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services (such as contacting a Seller or responding to a Buyer), or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You may include:

• Names
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Usernames
• Listing/advertisement details you choose to post (item description, photos, and asking price)

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Application Data. If you use our application(s), we may also collect the following if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

• Mobile Device Access — microphone, camera, gallery, and other features (for example, so Sellers can photograph and upload images of items they are listing). You may change these permissions anytime in your device settings.
• Mobile Device Data — device ID, model, manufacturer, OS and version, system configuration, application identification numbers, browser type/version, hardware model, carrier, and IP address.
• Push Notifications — regarding your account, new messages from a Buyer or Seller, or other features. You may opt out in your device settings.

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for internal analytics and reporting.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your IP address and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you use our Services.

This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services. This includes:

• Log and Usage Data — listings viewed, searches performed, actions taken, and error reports/crash dumps.
• Device Data — information about the computer, phone, or tablet you use to access the Services.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.

• To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
• To enable Sellers to post listings and Buyers to browse and discover listings.
• To enable user-to-user communications so Buyers and Sellers can negotiate and arrange a transaction directly between themselves.
• To respond to inquiries and offer support to users.
• To send administrative information about our products, Services, and policy changes.
• To process payment for advertisement/listing fees. MelMart charges Sellers a fee to post or promote a listing. We process your information to facilitate this payment.
  MelMart does not process, and is not involved in, any payment for the underlying item being bought or sold. That transaction takes place directly and independently between the Buyer and Seller, outside of the Services.
• To send marketing and promotional communications — you can opt out at any time.
• To deliver targeted advertising tailored to your interests and location.
• To protect our Services, including fraud monitoring and prevention (e.g. identifying fraudulent listings or accounts).
• To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

In Short: We may share information in specific situations and with specific categories of third parties.

Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

• Cloud Computing Services
• Data Analytics Services
• Data Storage Service Providers
• Performance Monitoring Tools
• User Account Registration & Authentication Services
• Communication & Collaboration Tools
• Payment Processing Services (limited to Sellers' advertisement/listing fees paid to MelMart)

We also may share your personal information in the following situations:

• Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition.
• Other Users — when you post a listing, your listing details, username, and any contact information you include may be viewed by all users and made publicly available. When you contact a Seller (or a Buyer contacts you), information is shared directly between you to enable communication.
  MelMart is not a party to, and has no responsibility or liability for, any transaction, agreement, or dispute arising between a Buyer and a Seller.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

Some tracking technologies help us maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and support basic site functions. We also permit third parties to use tracking technologies for analytics and advertising.

Google Analytics. We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze use of the Services. To opt out, visit Google Analytics Opt-out.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Notice, unless a longer period is required by law.

No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information longer than the period you maintain an account with us, or a listing remains active, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping and dispute-resolution purposes. When there is no ongoing legitimate business need, we delete or anonymize the information.

6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short: We aim to protect your information through organizational and technical security measures.

Despite our safeguards, no transmission over the Internet or storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure. Transmission of your personal information is at your own risk.

7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18.

Our Services, including posting or responding to listings, are not directed at minors. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that personal information from a user under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and delete such data. 8. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

Withdrawing your consent — you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Opting out of marketing communications — unsubscribe via the link in our emails or by contacting us. We may still send service-related messages (e.g. a new message from a Buyer or Seller).

Account Information — you can log in to update your account/listings, or contact us to terminate your account. We may retain some information to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requirements.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

No uniform technology standard for DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Notice frequently.
